Palmyra Peak & Black Iron Bowl
Palmyra Peak and Black Iron Bowl offer 200 acres of breathtaking hike-to terrain, accessible via Lift 12 (Prospect Lift). These areas are ideal for advanced and expert skiers seeking challenges in steep chutes, glades, and expansive bowls. Signature runs include Tram Shot, Sunrise, and Electric Shock.
Palmyra Peak
Palmyra Peak stands at 13,320 feet and features nearly 2,000 vertical feet of challenging, in-bounds terrain. Skiers access Palmyra Peak via Lift 12 (Prospect Lift) and can enjoy runs like Sunrise, Tram Shot, and Electric Shock. The hike to this iconic terrain typically takes 1–1.5 hours from Black Iron Bowl.
Revelation Bowl
Revelation Bowl offers high-alpine skiing with stunning views of the San Juan Mountains. Located on the southern boundary of the resort, this wide-open bowl is perfect for intermediate and advanced skiers seeking fast descents and unparalleled views of Bear Creek Canyon. It is easily accessed via Gold Hill Express (Lift 14).
Gold Hill Chutes
The Gold Hill Chutes are renowned for their steep and technical descents, making them a favorite for advanced and expert skiers. Accessible via Revelation Lift (Lift 15), these chutes feature cliffs, couloirs, and glades. Hike times vary, but skiers can expect a 20–30 minute trek to reach this challenging terrain.
Nordic Trails
Telluride’s Nordic Trails in the Top-A-Ten area provide groomed cross-country skiing and snowshoeing options. Accessed via Lift 10 (Sunshine Express) or uphill guidelines, these trails are suitable for all skill levels. The serene landscape and well-maintained paths make this an ideal activity for families or outdoor enthusiasts.
